Constant Sleeve Overview

Vertical Floating Shaft Variety
The upper coupling can be a Conventional Vertical Style coupling. The lower coupling includes a hardened crowned button inserted within the plate on the reduce hub along with a hardened flat button inserted from the plate of your upper hub. The entire floating assembly rests on these two buttons which carry the fat of your floating assembly therefore maintaining the spacing involving the two reduced hubs enabling for flexibility. The hubs around the floating shaft are flexible as well as hubs in the driver and driven shafts are rigid.
Brakedrum Style
Two distinct types of brakedrum couplings are illustrated. 1 demonstrates the brakedrum as an intergal aspect of your sleeve and also the two hybs are conventional. The other design utilizes one normal hub along with a common sleeve together with the brakedrum as part of a unique hub.
Brake Disc Sort
Two distinctive models of brake disc couplings are illustrated. 1 exhibits the brake disc as an intergal part from the sleeve along with the two hybs are typical. Another design utilizes one standard hub in addition to a standard sleeve together with the brakedrum as aspect of a particular hub.
Sliding Hub Style
The sleeve is longer than conventional and is designed to allow for any predetermined quantity of axial travel on one particular shaft. The brief hub is secured for the sleeve by means of a spacer washer and snap ring which prevents travel. This style can also be manufactured to permit for travel of both hubs inside the sleeve. This coupling is also available which has a rigid style brief hub.
Jordan Variety
Applied on Jordan machines and refiners, this style is related towards the Sliding Hub Form coupling except the long hub is split and secured towards the shaft with a bolt. This permits for quick axial adjustment of your Jordan shafts within the hub.
Continuous Lubricated Variety
This coupling is adapted from our Normal Variety coupling, except the typical seals are already replaced together with the special spacer washers. These washers have a snug match while in the sleeve with ample clearance around the hub OD to permit for injection of a constant stream of lubricant.
