Tractor Hydraulic Gear Pump Features

Installation of the Hydraulic Pump for Tractors

  1. Prepare the Work Area and Tools
Before starting the installation, ensure the tractor is parked on a flat, stable surface with the engine turned off. Gather all necessary tools, such as wrenches and hydraulic fluid, to avoid interruptions during installation.
  2. Drain the Hydraulic System
Carefully drain the hydraulic system by removing the reservoir cap and opening the drain plug. This step prevents fluid spillage during the tractor hydraulic pump replacement, maintaining cleanliness and reducing the risk of contamination.
  3. Remove the Old Pump
Disconnect the hydraulic lines attached to the old pump, ensuring no residual pressure is present. Loosen and remove the mounting bolts, and carefully detach the old pump without damaging adjacent components or fittings.
  4. Inspect and Prepare Connections
Thoroughly inspect the hydraulic lines, fittings, and mounting surfaces for any signs of wear, debris, or damage. Clean all connections and replace any faulty parts to ensure a secure and leak-free installation.
  5. Install the New Pump
Position the new hydraulic gear pump onto the mounting bracket and align it correctly. Secure it tightly using the provided bolts, and reconnect the hydraulic lines, ensuring all connections are properly tightened to prevent leaks.
  6. Refill and Test the System
Refill the hydraulic reservoir with clean, manufacturer-recommended fluid. Start the tractor and operate the hydraulic functions to test the tractor hydraulic gear pump. Check for leaks, unusual noises, or pressure issues, ensuring proper functionality before full operation.
