C60.58.001.0 Hydraulic Gear Pump for Deutz-Fahr Tractor

The C60.58.001.0 hydraulic gear pump is a specialized component designed for Deutz-Fahr tractors, integral to their hydraulic systems. This tractor hydraulic pump facilitates the operation of various hydraulic implements by generating the necessary fluid pressure to power components like loaders, lifters, and steering systems. It operates on the principle of displacing hydraulic fluid through the rotation of intermeshed gears, creating excess pressure in the system’s pressure chamber.

Typically, it features a robust housing with two independent cavities, each containing a pair of gears rotating on common shafts, ensuring efficient fluid flow. Compatible with multiple Deutz-Fahr models, such as the Agrotron and DX series, this tractor hydraulic gear pump ensures smooth and reliable performance for demanding agricultural tasks.

How Does a Tractor Hydraulic Gear Pump Work?

The working principle of the tractor hydraulic gear pump is to convert the mechanical energy of the tractor engine into hydraulic energy, which is used to drive various hydraulic systems, such as steering, lifting and auxiliary accessories. This pump operates based on the positive displacement principle and generates pressure and flow within the hydraulic system by relying on the movement of interlocking gears.

When the tractor engine meshes with the tractor hydraulic pump through the connected shaft, the driving gear begins to rotate, which in turn drives the idler wheel to rotate. These two interlocking gears create a vacuum at the inlet, drawing hydraulic oil from the oil tank into the pump. As the gears rotate, the hydraulic oil is trapped between the gear teeth and the hydraulic pump housing. Then, the trapped hydraulic oil is delivered to the outer edge of the gear, far from the inlet side.

As the gears continue to rotate, the hydraulic oil is forced to flow towards the outlet, where the meshing of the gears generates high pressure. The pressurized hydraulic oil is then delivered through hoses or pipes to various components of the hydraulic system, such as cylinders or motors, to perform tasks such as lifting loaders, operating accessories or driving other auxiliary systems.

Thanks to precisely designed components such as seals and gaskets, this hydraulic pump for tractor can operate efficiently under high pressure without oil leakage. Its simple yet robust mechanism ensures reliable performance in demanding agricultural operations.
